Tree Swing
My sister has been asking for a tree wing so when we went to home depot we grabbed some rope for it. I find it a very fun summer activity and also it is very relaxing. We put on a wood one we made and a blue one we had from a past playground.

Blah
So I could not go a day without posting something so heres my random post of my day.I had swim practice in the morning, mowed two lawns, painted my nails like watermelons, did a 2 mile jog and went bowling FOR FREE. Yea that's right FREE we got these free coupons that you just ask the workers there for at broadway bowling by Waterford lakes FL (kind of by Orlando) if we happen to be in the city try it out, and adult are $4 for shoes and a game. I thought that was pretty good. Anyways, I am exhausted and have a swim meet tomorrow(: wish me luck!!

Nails
My sister and I were doing each others nails and these are hers!
I saw this idea on pinterest and decided to try it.
First you do a layer of one color. Wait for it to dry then cut thin pieces of electrical tape and lay 2 pieces over in a cool funky pattern. After that you put your second color of paint on over it. Wait for that to dry, pull off the pieces of tape and tada you have some cool nails done(:

Mermaid Party
For my sisters 8th birthday she wanted a mermaid party. We had mermaid transformations ( hair, nails, and makeup) for the hair we just did fish tail braids, the for the nails any colors with glitter and for the makeup we put and onion net around their face then put eyeshadow over it to make it look scaley. Also we made mermaid towel tails from $3 towels we got at Kmart! And of course the cake was fabulous!
(which we also made). Then for their dinner we put starfish sandwiches and some other things in a beach bucket. She had a wonderful birthday and pictures of her baptism will come soon(:

Brownies
I made these delicious brownies for YW.
2/3 cup butter
1/3 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
1 cup granulated sugar
2 eggs
1 tsp vanilla
3/4 cup all purpose flour
1/2 cup of chocolate chips
Powdered Sugar ( optional )
Heat oven to 350 degrees F. Melt butter in a medium sauce pan over medium heat. Stir in cocoa powder. Remove from heat. Stir in granulated sugar. Stir in eggs (one at a time) and vanilla. Beat lightly by hand just until combined. Stir in flour. Stir in chocolate chips. Sprea batter in a greased 8x8x2 inch pan. Bake for 30 minutes. Cool in pan on a wire rack. Sift powdered sugar over the top. Makes about 24. Store in an airtight container and store at room temperature up to 1 week or freeze up to 3 months. OR just eat all of them:D
The picture is kind of blurry but the brownies are delicious!!

Iron Kid
A couple weeks ago (may 19) I did an iron kid which is a kid triathlon, for my age group I had to swim 300 yards, bike 8 miles and run 2 miles. I have to say that was so much fun and I would love to do another triathlon! I have a picture of me and my friend Hannah at the swim start (I am on the left) and us again once we were done with our medals.
Bedroom
I love redecorating my room, if it didn't cost too much I would have a different room every week! My last room color scheme was hot pink, green, brown, and light pink. I might be able to find a picture. But this room since I am in middle school I wanted a more sophisticated color scheme, so I chose yellow and gray! I got my inspiration from the Guest Bedroom on Sew Dang Cute Crafts (http://www.sewdangcutecrafts.com/2011/06/my-finished-guest-bedroom.html) I could only find the desk area but I will make my bed then go take a picture(:
